|DID YOU KNOW?
Every 9 seconds an animal is put to sleep
An estimated 3 to 4 million dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters each year.
Millions more are abandoned, only to suffer from illness or injury before dying.
Over $2 billion is spent annually by local governments to shelter and ultimately
destroy 6-8 million adoptable dogs and cats due of shortage of homes.
To all that have helped make HelpFourPaws what it is...
Over the past 6 years we have flown and driven hundreds of dogs to a better situation and we are grateful that we have had that opportunity. Our
amazing volunteers and board members have been the strongest link in helping accomplish this.
2 special members need to be recognized, Our Director of Volunteer Services, Karen Mattison, cannot be thanked enough for all that has been done.
Organizing, coordinating and keeping the wheels on....Our Secretary, Vicki Dolder, has been keeping track of all our data. Thank you! Both of their
efforts allowed us to keep moving forward and do great things...
The addition of the rescue van wrapped in HFP colors has allowed us to save even more animals and promote the cause by driving weekend rescues.
So where do we go from here? Over the past few months there has been much discussion on that topic.
Knowing that the majority of our rescue missions have been to the Northwest part of Florida and there are so many animals that need and deserve a
better life....It is with great joy that we announce the merger of Chipley's Angels Rescue Team, Inc with HelpFourPaws.
With the leadership of Sue Bruce and a great team of volunteers, the joining of these two forces will be an even stronger rescue transport group.
We look forward to the new success and the wonderful growth to come from this next step. Stay tuned for more information and details to come.
Thank you...Thanks to everyone!
